Experimental study of heat transfer in a helical coiled tube biomass fired rotary device

چکیده

The present investigations put forth the development of a novel double wall vented rotary fluid heating device. In this device, water is used as process and heated by combustion sugarcane bagasse. proposed method found to provide use more systematic fuel transport system ensure efficient heat transfer fluid. It observed offer many advantages over conventional furnaces obviates any mechanized such traveling grate, fluidized bed system, dumping etc. in systems. Also, liberated effectively for through helical coiled tube mounted surface drum. study aims assess thermal performance chamber at different experimental parameters. was concluded have maximum temperature rise, efficiency 45.3C 45.2% when drum speed 6 RPM Reynolds number equal 1176.
